Lauren Ross
M.A. Clinical Mental Health Counseling
LPC-MHSP (temp.), NCC
In Lauren’s life, counseling has been a consistent contributor to her self-discovery and personal growth. This deeply transformational experience is what laid the groundwork for Lauren to pursue a career in counseling. Lauren’s clients will find that her life experience brings a level of compassion and genuine empathy which allows her to relate with ease to clients from a wide array of backgrounds.
Prior to beginning her graduate studies, Lauren had a successful career in hospitality, working with a variety of clients on corporate events and meeting planning. She also spent a season at home with her two sons.
Lauren feels it is a genuine honor to walk alongside her clients through life’s transitions, struggles and discoveries. She recognizes the strength and vulnerability it takes for her clients to step into the room and is very grateful for the opportunity to share this sacred space with each client. Lauren is influenced by family systems theory, cognitive and behavioral therapies, and enjoys working with individuals and couples experiencing anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship challenges and difficulty with life transitions.
Lauren enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with her husband, Jackson, and their two boys, while also pouring her love and time into multiple Nashville-based organizations.
