Corinne Terhune graduated from University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a Bachelors of Nursing. After working in labor and delivery as a registered nurse, Corinne moved to Nashville to pursue her Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy through Lipscomb University where she specialized in play therapy. She completed her internship at the Refuge Center for Counseling, where she worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and couples. She is EMDR trained and a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). Corinne has a passion for working with children and their parents, teens, and young adults. She has experience working with a multitude of different presenting issues, and she is equipped with specific skills and training to work with those who are experiencing anxiety/depression, trauma, grief/loss, divorce adjustment, and relational conflict.
Corinne is dedicated to creating a warm environment where her clients can feel safe to share their stories and is passionate about honoring their value and worth. She believes that there is hope in every client's story. She desires to nurture a safe and collaborative relationship with each client to find healing.
In her free time, Corinne loves playing pickleball and games with friends, trying new coffee shops, working on craft projects, and reading books.
